Privacy policy

Folio keeps your collection on your device. Nobody else ever sees what you own or want — not even the developer.
No analytics, no tracking
Folio doesn't use analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting tools of any kind. Nothing about how you use the app is collected or sent anywhere.
Your collection stays on your device
Everything you add to Folio, including the sculpts you own, your wishlist, and your notes and tags, lives on your device. Folio doesn't sync your collection to any server, and doesn't operate a server that stores or sees it.
Connecting a store account
When you connect a store account, such as Gumroad, Cults3D, or MyMiniFactory, your sign-in is used only to bring in your purchases and recognize what you already own. That connection works directly between your device and the store: Folio doesn't have a server in the middle, and your credentials stay in Keychain on your device instead of on ours.
Importing or browsing a creator's catalog, even without connecting an account, causes your device to fetch pages and images directly from that store, the same as visiting it in a browser.
Signing in with Patreon
If you connect Patreon, sign-in currently bounces through a small redirect step at folio-auth.davisnetwork.xyz, run by Folio's own developer, not an outside company. That redirect only passes the sign-in response back to the app; it isn't designed to log or keep a copy of it.
No account required
You don't need to sign up or create an account to use Folio. Your information is never sold or shared with third parties.

Changes to this policy
If what Folio collects ever changes, this page is updated before that change ships, and the release notes will say so.
